Jessica Mills Make-up Artist (& team) is fully insured by Salon Gold, part of Henry Seymour & Co.
Jessica Mills Make-Up Artist (& team) uses premium, high-quality skincare and cosmetics such as Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Embryolisse, as well as many other professional brands. Cosmetics and products from these brands are designed to look good to the eye and, crucially, to the camera as well. These products are also chosen to ensure that your makeup lasts all day and into the night.
Jessica (& team) will arrive at the client’s chosen address at a pre-agreed time, allowing sufficient time to set-up and apply makeup to client(s).
A non-refundable booking fee to the amount of what is quoted to you is required within 7 days of booking to secure the date. If you are booking for a wedding make-up, then this is also your payment for the make-up Trial.
If you are booking for an occasion/event make-up, this is 50% of your total booking amount. The remaining 50% will be due a week before the booking/event date.
All payments can be made by cash or BACS payment. Jessica will send you the payment details one you have agreed and signed to these Ts and Cs.
Trials (generally for Wedding bookings)
Trials will generally take place at Jessica’s in Bristol (TBC if booking the team). Following a successful Trial, 50% of final amounts due for the wedding day will be emailed to you in a confirmation of booking email. This payment is due up to 7 days after the Trial date and it also acts as a final, non-refundable deposit for the day itself. The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding day.
For weddings, trials generally take place approximately 8 weeks before the big day. Jessica will be in touch near to the time to arrange this with you. Please let Jessica know if anyone else requires a Trial, as this must be paid for and arranged in advance.
If for any reason you do not want to proceed with the booking after your Trial, please let us know at the earliest opportunity in writing.
If you wish to book an extra Trial for others, you can do so, but this is to be paid for upfront, unless Jessica has factored this within your quote.
Please note, any no shows for Trial appointments will be subject to paying an extra 50% of the Trial amount.
Please let Jessica know well in advance if you are suffering, or do suffer from any of the below (or from anything which has not been mentioned which you think Jessica should be aware of):
Recent cold Sores, styes, contagious skin conditions, conjunctivitis, undiagnosed lumps or swellings, cuts, abrasions, broken skin, known sensitivity or allergies to products, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and contagious illnesses which may restrict or prevent the make-up from taking place.
In addition, if you are sensitive to products applied, this is done so at your own risk and Jessica will not be liable for any complications post-application. A Trial is essential to make sure the make-up being applied is suitable for you if you are unsure.
Before seeing Jessica or her Pro Team, you MUST let Jessica know prior to your appointment if you are feeling the slightest bit unwell (or are showing any signs of coronavirus), have been in contact with someone recently who isn’t well (or showing any signs of coronavirus). It is in Jessica’s highest interest to keep everyone safe and Trials/Makeovers/Lessons can be so easily re-arranged. Jessica will be wearing the appropriate PPE when applying make-up (with sanitised brushes), as well as hygienically decanting product onto a sanitised stainless steel palette to apply your make-up in the safest way possible.
Travel fees are charged at 50p per mile from Bristol.

To cancel your booking, you must do so at least 4 weeks before the confirmed date in writing and with a phone call. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to 50% payment of ALL outstanding fees.
The booking fee and deposit are non-refundable.
In the unfortunate and unlikely event that Jessica Mills Make-Up needs to cancel the booking, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity and do everything possible to find you a new makeup artist that is already part of our professional team. If this is not possible, we will of course refund you with your booking fee (if you have not had a Trial yet) and any fees you have paid in advance.
